Visit the Museum
Step into the story with a visit to the History Colorado Center. See Toys of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. The exhibit is a playful traveling exhibit developed by the Minnestota History Center. Not only does this exhibit exude FUN with its themed rooms filled with games and toy treasures, but it also encourages visitors to play and let their imaginations run wild.
Toys Take Over Tuesdays
Come to our fun, drop-in program every Tuesday in July and August, in the atrium or the Toys of the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s exhibit, and dive into an activity all about toys!
Find out what goes on behind the scenes in a large history museum! Campers will become “employees” of the museum and travel back in time to learn Colorado’s most fascinating stories. More info about Summer Camp
Bring your 2 – 5 year olds to for story time in our Destination Colorado exhibit and learn about farms, cowboys, and animals. We’ll read a story, then have play time in the exhibit before the museum opens. More info here.
